Loan Operations Specialist
Location: Manchester (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £45K + Excellent Benefits
I'm currently working with a leading global financial services organisation that is looking to add an experienced Loan Operations Specialist to its growing Loans Enablement team in Manchester.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in loan operations or loan servicing who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is looking to develop their career within a global organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cash, trade, and data reconciliations across loan portfolios.
- Process and validate loan transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks and operational exceptions.
- Ensure all activities are completed in line with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and service level agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support the end-to-end loan lifecycle.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, including the use of AI and automation.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy while working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

What We're Looking For
- 5-10 years' experience within Loan Operations, Loan Servicing, or a similar loans environment.
- Experience with cash, trade, and data reconciliations.
- Strong understanding of loan products and operational processes within financial services.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Experience using AI or automation tools to improve efficiency is highly desirable.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is beneficial but not essential.
