Role Description
The St Andrews Bay Clubhouse & Grill Manager is a full-time, on-site position based at Fairmont St Andrews in St Andrews, UK. This role oversees the daily operations of the clubhouse and grill, ensuring exceptional guest service, high-quality food and beverage delivery, and smooth coordination between front-of-house and kitchen teams.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Managing staffing levels and schedules.
- Supervising team performance.
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training.
- Monitoring service standards, health and safety, and compliance with brand and regulatory requirements.
- Managing inventory, ordering, and cost control.
- Handling guest feedback.
- Supporting events and golf-related functions.
- Working closely with senior leadership to achieve revenue targets and enhance the overall guest experience.
Qualifications
- Experience in restaurant, bar, or clubhouse management, with strong skills in daily operations, team supervision, and guest service delivery.
- Ability to manage staffing, scheduling, and performance, including training, coaching, and fostering an inclusive, collaborative team culture.
- Knowledge of food and beverage standards, health and safety regulations, and basic financial management such as budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage guests, resolve issues, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in hospitality, resorts, or golf club environments is highly beneficial; familiarity with luxury service standards is an advantage.
- Proficiency with restaurant/clubhouse management systems and basic office software; comfortable with reporting and data-driven decision-making.
- Flexibility to work variable hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by business needs.
