Job Opportunity: ST4 or Above Tier 2 Trainee or Clinical Fellow in Paediatrics at Ipswich Hospital
This post is fixed term until the 5th of September 2027.
About the Role
We are recruiting to maintain a fully staffed rota, seeking passionate doctors who will work alongside our consultants and wider MDT to deliver high quality care and develop our service. There will be opportunity to develop subspecialty interest and support provided with sitting for clinical examination.
Clinical Duties
- Attending to and managing Paediatric patients presenting to Children’s Assessment unit, which might include referrals from primary care and Emergency medicine.
- Leading ward rounds and attending to Paediatric emergencies.
- Covering the neonatal unit, postnatal ward and attending to neonatal emergencies on the labour ward and theatres.
- Overseeing the tier 1 doctors and nurse practitioners on the Tier 1 rota.
- Working closely with a supportive group of consultants who will be working closely with the appointee and supervising them.
