Mint People are looking for experienced, driven and inspirational Stadium Retail Managers to oversee retail operations across an entire stadium stand at some of Manchester's biggest sporting and entertainment venues.

Your Role

As a Stadium Retail Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the retail operation across an entire stadium stand, leading a team of Section Managers to ensure every kiosk, bar and food outlet delivers an exceptional guest experience.

You will be responsible for the successful planning, coordination and execution of retail operations before, during and after every event.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • 🏟️ Leading all retail operations across your allocated stadium stand, ensuring every outlet is fully operational and event-ready.
  • πŸ‘₯ Managing, coaching and supporting a team of Section Managers, providing leadership throughout the event and driving high performance.
  • 🎯 Ensuring exceptional customer service standards are consistently delivered across every retail outlet within your stand.
  • πŸš€ Monitoring sales performance, customer flow and queue management, making operational decisions to maximise efficiency and revenue.
  • πŸ“¦ Overseeing stock management across the stand, working with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure all outlets remain fully stocked throughout the event.
  • πŸ’· Maintaining full accountability for cash handling procedures, till compliance and end-of-event reconciliations.
  • 🧹 Ensuring all retail operations comply with food safety, licensing, health & safety and company operating standards.
  • 🀝 Working closely with the Stadium Operations Team, Catering Management, Security and Event Control to ensure the smooth delivery of every event.
  • πŸ“Š Conducting pre-event briefings, operational walkarounds and post-event debriefs, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • ⚑ Responding quickly to operational challenges, reallocating resources where necessary to maintain service standards across the stand.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience managing large-scale retail or hospitality operations within a stadium, arena or high-volume event environment.
  • Proven experience leading multiple managers or large operational teams.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to drive sales and operational performance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and decision-making skills.
  • Experience managing stock, labour, compliance and financial controls.
  • A proactive, organised and resilient approach, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and major event days.
