SIA Stadium Security Officer – Job Advert

IMPORTANT:

This is a part-time role designed to fit around you. All applicants are vetted to BS7858 standard, which requires 5 years’ work history and 5 years’ address history with supporting documents.

About The Role

We are recruiting professional SIA Stadium Security Officers to support football matches and major events. You will be part of a coordinated matchday team responsible for crowd safety, access control, and maintaining a secure, welcoming environment for supporters, staff, and players.

This role is ideal for reliable, confident individuals who can remain calm under pressure and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-moving stadium setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage entry points, conduct ticket checks, and monitor crowd flow
  • Patrol stands, concourses, turnstiles, and perimeter areas
  • Maintain the safety of supporters, staff, and players throughout the event
  • Assist with evacuation procedures and follow stadium safety protocols
  • Respond quickly and professionally to incidents or medical emergencies
  • Complete accurate incident and accident reports
  • Provide clear directions and support to fans in a polite, professional manner
  • Relay real-time information to the Safety Officer and Control Room
  • Monitor for prohibited items and enforce stadium regulations
  • Carry out any additional duties required to support matchday operations

Requirements

  • Valid SIA Licence (Door Supervisor preferred for stadium work)
  • Level 2 Spectator Safety qualification, or currently working towards it
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work within safety procedures
  • Good physical fitness and stamina for long periods on foot
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Calm, confident, and able to defuse conflict situations
  • Strong observation skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in loud, high-pressure, fast-moving environments
