Staff Cyber Security Architect

The Staff Cyber Security Architect will support Baker Hughes Digital’s global cloud, customer solutions, and industrial internet initiatives. As a member of the Cyber Security team, this individual will partner with the cloud, commercial and industrial internet teams to implement secure system architectures and designs.
As Staff Cyber Security Architect, you will be responsible for:
- Define strategy and technology roadmap for the Cloud and Customer Solutions Cyber Security Programs
- Provide hands-on technical capability and embed with the Platform Security Team to deliver high-value outcomes to the business
- Be responsible for identifying IT solutions, building a cybersecurity design and assessment framework, implementing the framework, leading the assessments and evaluations of existing solutions, and leading the remediation of cybersecurity risks or vulnerabilities
- Document secure architecture and design strategies and roadmaps for cloud and customer solutions
- Ensure cyber security risks and vulnerabilities are logged, analyzed and vetted for accuracy within SLAs
- Create and configure the required cyber capabilities within the Baker Hughes Digital Cloud and on-premises environments.
- Identify and deliver appropriate metrics to drive cloud and customer security solutions reporting framework based on business risk
- Collaborate with other Baker Hughes Business Units to benchmark Cloud and Customer Solutions Cyber Security capabilities and processes
- Lead strategic projects and initiatives with a broad scope and high impact to the business, and be a recognized expert in security architecture and design
- Lead the implementation of cloud and customer solutions cyber security standards and policies to protect Baker Hughes Transportation’s information and business operations
- Lead the assessment of cloud and 3rd party hosted environments
- Continually evaluate new threats, solutions and the impact on IT and Business operations and balance these needs to develop and implement the best security solutions for the business
- Represent Baker Hughes Digital interests on Baker Hughes-wide cloud and customer solutions cybersecurity initiatives
- Work on security design patterns and work instructions to enable the business.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Bachelor's Degree. A minimum 10 years of professional experience.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant consulting and/or industry experience.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on technical experience designing and implementing security solutions for AWS across IaaS and PaaS models and environments (Public, Private, Hybrid).
- Solid understanding of the cybersecurity domain and application security architecture.
- Hands-on experience with cloud applications and infrastructures
- Understanding of cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities related to IT system architectures and design
- Familiarity with NIST or ISO security requirements
- Strong customer focus and ability to manage customer expectations
- Industry certification a plus- (CISSP, GSEC, GIAC, CCSP).
