Staff Software Engineer | TypeScript / Complex UI | £120–160k
Hybrid - 3 Days on-site
We're working with a deep-tech scale-up building a highly complex product that connects software with real-world automation.
They're hiring a Staff Software Engineer to lead the technical direction of their user-facing product experience — building sophisticated interfaces that allow users to interact with and control complex physical systems.

This isn't a standard frontend role. They need a hands-on product engineer who can solve difficult UI problems while technically leading Senior Engineers.
We're looking for:
- 10+ years engineering experience
- Strong TypeScript / JavaScript
- React, Vue, Angular or similar
- Experience building complex, dynamic or real-time interfaces
- Strong product engineering mindset
- Staff-level technical leadership
- 0-1 / greenfield product experience
- Full-stack exposure beneficial
