Staff Product Engineer / PHP / Symfony / JavaScript
Hybrid - London
£110k - £120k + benefits
I’m partnered with an exciting and growing healthcare technology business that is using software to solve meaningful problems in a highly regulated industry.
They’re now looking for a Staff Product Engineer to join their engineering team and play a key role in shaping and developing the product.
This isn’t just another software engineering role. You’ll be working on products used in real-world healthcare environments, with the opportunity to take genuine ownership, solve complex technical challenges and have a tangible impact on the way the platform evolves.

Key skills & experience:
- 7+ years’ experience in full-stack software development (backend leaning)
- Strong PHP experience
- Extensive experience with Symfony & Doctrine
- Strong JavaScript & CSS knowledge
- Solid PostgreSQL experience
- Experience building complex enterprise applications
- Strong understanding of DDD & CQRS
- Experience tackling scalability, performance and other challenging technical requirements
- Strong approach to automated testing and secure development
- A collaborative engineer who enjoys taking ownership
