Staff Frontend Engineer | London | AI-Native SaaS | £150,000 + Equity

We’re partnering with a high-growth, venture-backed AI SaaS company in London as they scale their engineering team. We are currently on the lookout for a Staff Front End hire to join their team.

Their platform transforms complex, manual workflows into AI-powered systems used by global enterprise clients. Following rapid growth and a major funding round, they’re now looking for a Staff Frontend Engineer to take ownership of their frontend architecture and help define the next phase of product evolution.

With new AI-driven features launching and the product entering a critical scaling phase, this is a rare opportunity to shape the frontend of an AI-native enterprise platform from an architectural level.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own and evolve the frontend architecture of a complex, data-heavy SaaS platform, designing scalable patterns that support long-term product growth.
  • Lead framework-agnostic frontend development (React, Vue or similar), making sound architectural decisions around state management, rendering strategies, and performance optimisation.
  • Design and build AI-native interfaces, integrating LLM-powered workflows such as streaming responses, prompt orchestration, and intelligent automation features.
  • Partner closely with backend and ML engineers to productionise AI functionality securely and reliably within enterprise-grade environments.
  • Establish best practices across testing, observability, CI/CD, and frontend performance to ensure high reliability and maintainability.
  • Contribute to or establish a scalable design system and component architecture.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and modernise engineering workflows.
  • Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar across frontend development, influencing standards and long-term technical direction.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
