Job title: Staff Full Stack Developer (TypeScript, React, Scala, AWS)
Job type: Contract (Inside IR35)
Contract Length: 6-12 months
Rate: £600+ per day
Role Location: Hybrid - London (1 day per week onsite). Candidates must be UK-based

A large, well-known organisation with a high-traffic consumer web platform used by millions of people every day.
Role and Responsibilities
Signify have partnered up with an established organisation to hire a Staff Full Stack Developer to help steer the technical direction of a major customer-facing web platform that also supports their mobile apps. You will be a senior voice in the engineering community, setting standards, guiding teams and leading delivery on projects that matter to the business. You will work alongside designers, UX specialists, product leads and other developers, and have a say in what gets built as well as how. Day to day you will be building primarily in TypeScript and Scala on AWS, and pairing with other developers in a team that ships and iterates quickly.

Job Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience building web applications
- Strong frontend skills with TypeScript and React, plus modern CSS
- Scala back end
- Hands-on experience with AWS
- Experience leading teams and significant projects in a fast-moving, product-driven environment
- Track record building and maintaining high-traffic, performant platforms with wide organisational impact
- Confident turning product and business requirements into technical solutions
- Hands-on experience applying security best practice
- A team player who collaborates well across teams and is curious about where the wider organisation is heading
- Must be UK-based with the right to work in the UK
