Senior Software Engineer | Remote | High Ownership | AI-Native Engineering
Remote (UK)
Some engineering teams have layers of management. This one has trust.
We're partnering with an exceptionally profitable software company that's built a successful product with a remarkably small engineering team. They've grown sustainably, have an established customer base, and are now looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help shape the next phase of the platform.
This isn't a role where you'll spend weeks waiting for decisions or implementing tickets written by someone else. You'll have the autonomy to identify problems, propose solutions and ship features that make a real difference to customers.
They're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, thrives with minimal process and wants to work in an environment where outcomes matter more than hierarchy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
