As a Staff ML Engineer, you’ll take end-to-end ownership of production-grade ML solutions, from design to deployment and optimisation. This is a deeply hands-on role; you’ll be writing code, not just directing others. You will provide technical leadership, align ML capabilities with business priorities, and apply advanced statistical and causal inference methods to ensure robustness. This isn't a research-heavy role; it's about shipping impactful ML that drives growth.
The work
- Design and optimise large-scale user reward schemes, adapting to real-time user behaviour and market dynamics.
- Lead the implementation of personalised, real-time reward value systems that drive user engagement.
- Develop ML solutions to diagnose underperforming campaigns and identify root causes of failure.
- Provide technical leadership, setting best practices for production ML code and system design across projects.
- Apply advanced statistical and causal inference methods to ensure model robustness and reliability in production.

What You Bring
- Proven expertise building, deploying, and maintaining production ML solutions at scale, ideally in adtech or similar high-throughput environments.
- Deep knowledge of statistics, including A/B testing, regression, and probability theory.
- Strong programming in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience deploying ML to cloud environments.
- Ability to mentor ML engineers and set technical direction for cross-functional teams.
