Full Time/Part Time – Hours
Priory Hospital Lincolnshire has an opportunity for a Staff Nurse to join our team.
Located in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, Priory Hospital Lincolnshire is a low secure unit for males with mental health conditions. It offers support to those who are detained under the Mental Health Act (MHA).
What you'll be doing
- You will be part of a compassionate team that is committed to supporting people's wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future.
- Deliver high-quality nursing care tailored to each service user’s individual needs and care plan.
- Complete clinical assessments, risk assessments and care planning, monitoring changes in presentation and escalating concerns appropriately.
- Administer and monitor medication safely, including identifying and reporting any side effects or changes in physical/mental health.
- Work closely with the MDT, service users and families/carers to support recovery and achieve positive outcomes.

What you'll bring to the role
Essential for the role
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.
- Strong communication, organisational and clinical skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to delivering safe, person-centred care.
- Understanding of safeguarding, risk management and medication administration.
The following experience would be beneficial
- Previous experience working within a mental health or inpatient setting.
- Experience supporting individuals with complex mental health needs.
- Experience completing care plans, risk assessments and clinical documentation.
- Knowledge of recovery-focused and trauma-informed approaches.
