Are you a caring and compassionate Registered Nurse looking to work in an outstanding rated Trust?

Rowan ward, based at Yeatman Hospital, Sherborne is looking for either an experienced or newly qualified Staff Nurse to join our supportive team.

About the Role

As a Staff Nurse you will be working alongside a multi-disciplinary team, in a 15 bedded ward who provide stroke rehabilitation, Palliative / End of Life care for the local and wider community. Our Stroke Rehabilitation and End of Life Care unit achieved a nationally recognised accreditation in the Gold Standard Framework award for end-of-life care. Our team are a close-knit community, and we pride ourselves on always going the extra mile.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside a multi-disciplinary team
  • Provide stroke rehabilitation and Palliative / End of Life care
  • Achieve nationally recognised accreditation in the Gold Standard Framework award for end-of-life care

Shifts

  • Long days: 0730-2030
  • Nights: 20:00 – 08:00
  • Weekend and public holidays at enhanced pay

Requirements

  • Must hold valid right to work in the UK
  • Must have enthusiasm and a commitment to provide the highest standards of care to patients, relatives, and carers
  • Must have good communication and organizational skills
  • Must have an interest in working with older people
