Discharge Lounge Registered Nurse
Discharge lounge at Queen Elizabeth Hospital is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse who will contribute to patients discharge process to promote the hospital flow. The post holder will contribute to facilitating early discharge to promote effective flow, creating capacity in Emergency Department. The post holder will provide care to adults with acute health needs in the Discharge Lounge. The post holder will be accountable and responsible for providing a high standard of patient centred care.
To carry out care without direct supervision as part of the Discharge Lounge team.
To communicate effectively within the multidisciplinary team and the patient transport department.
