Are you a caring and compassionate Registered Nurse looking to work in an outstanding rated Trust?

Shaston ward, based at Westminster memorial hospital, Shaftesbury are looking for either an experienced or newly qualified Staff Nurse to join our supportive team.

About the Role

As a Staff Nurse you will be working alongside a multi-disciplinary team, in a 15 bedded ward who provide sub-acute medical care, rehabilitation, Palliative / End of Life care for the local and wider community. Our Elderly Rehabilitation and End of Life Care unit achieved a nationally recognised accreditation in the Gold Standard Framework award for end-of-life care. Our team are a close-knit community, and we pride ourselves on always going the extra mile.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside a multi-disciplinary team
  • Provide sub-acute medical care, rehabilitation, Palliative / End of Life care
  • Contribute to achieving nationally recognised accreditation in the Gold Standard Framework award for end-of-life care

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with valid right to work in the UK
  • Valid right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
  • Commitment to providing the highest standards of care
  • Enthusiasm and commitment
  • Interest in working with older people
  • Good communication and organizational skills

Working Conditions

  • Part-time role for 15 hours per week
  • Variety of flexible shifts:
    • Early: 07.30 – 15.30
    • Late: 12.30 – 20.30
    • Long Days: 07:30-20:30
    • Nights: 20.15 – 07.45
  • Weekend and public holidays at enhanced pay
