An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) on Ward 22 in Royal Glamorgan Hospital.

About the Role

Candidates should have experience within the field of Adult Mental Health.

Ward 22 is a 14-bedded Acute Psychiatric assessment and treatment Ward for all adults within RCT & Bridgend.

To undertake the role of named nurse providing assessment, implementation of care and treatment, and evaluation.

Ensure the care given is patient-centred, multi-disciplinary, collaborative, and evidence-based.

Please note: We welcome applications from registered nurses; however, this role is not suitable for student nurses who have not yet obtained NMC registration. Candidates must be registered with the NMC at the point of application.

Welsh Language

This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. Whilst the candidate doesn't need to have skills in Welsh, we'll consider it an advantage when short-listing and selecting candidates. This isn’t ‘fluency’, just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means being able to communicate in Welsh during routine clinical situations, such as welcoming patients, discussing straightforward aspects of their care, and answering routine questions.
