About the Role

You will be an experienced or newly-qualified nurse working within a multidisciplinary team and carry out a diverse range of duties. As a Staff Nurse within the team you will be regularly supported and supervised by a nominated Senior Staff Nurse and you will be encouraged to take personal responsibility for clinical supervision and your continued professional development plan.

Preceptors are encouraged to apply along with experienced nurses, and as a newly-qualified nurse, you will undertake a period of preceptorship overseen by a named Band 6 Nurse Specialist within your team and engage on the Trust’s excellent Preceptorship Programme.

You will actively promote teamwork, respect, integrity, accountability, excellence and compassion within the clinical team in accordance with the Trust values and Code of Conduct. You are required to maintain links with your professional body and provide evidence for the revalidation process.
