- Salary: £37,875 - £46,581.47 (Depending upon experience)
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Location: 33 Grosvenor Place, SW1X 7HY
- Contract: Full time, permanent position
What are we looking for?
Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Staff Nurse to join our Acute Admissions Unit team, with a competitive salary range on offer up to £46,581.47 depending upon experience.
This is a Monday-Sunday, Days, Nights and Weekends role with the following shift patterns:
- 6 week rota of 19 shifts
- 08:00 – 20:30 and 20:00 – 08:30
- This role will involve overtime

In the Acute Admissions Unit (AAU), we care for patients experiencing acute medical or surgical conditions. Our skilled nursing team works collaboratively to identify patient needs and plan effective interventions. Our goal is to provide patients a smooth journey to recovery and positive patient experience. In this role, you will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care of patients requiring triage, acute assessment and admission under indirect supervision from senior staff.
What will your duties include?
- Provides direct nursing care to patients presenting at the Acute Admissions Unit care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of CCL.
- Triage, prioritise Nursing care and recognise deterioration in patient conditions, escalating to Senior Nurses/Consultants immediately.
- Evaluates, updates and revises plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
- Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
- Carry out additional duties and responsibilities needed for the role as delegated by the senior team.

What we need from you?
- Nursing Bachelor’s Degree (Essential).
- Current nursing registration (First Level) through the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) required, with no restrictions to practice (Essential).
- Demonstrable clinical and leadership experience in the field of AAU (Essential).
- Must be willing to undertake relevant post-reg courses (Essential).
- ILS provider course completed required and qualification in date (Desirable).
