Job Role
To organise, prepare and assist with specialist clinics e.g., wound review clinic, Skin cancer lists and casualty.
Prepare medical and orthodontic notes for clinics including obtaining investigation results from computerized systems - X-rays, MRI, and CT scans.
Obtaining Orthodontic appliances from the laboratory.
Take on responsibility for personal development and support the development and supervision of others by developing and maintaining specialist knowledge.
Conduct oneself in a professional manner and be a role model to less experienced and new staff at all times.
Work proactively to ensure that every patient attendance meets the patient’s expectations and needs with timely undertaking of procedures and effective communication with relatives, patients, and carers.

Clinics you will assist in our Oral surgery, Skin procedures under local anaesthetic, IV sedation and minor operations, Orthodontics, and specialised clinics such as Orthognathic.

Hours
Weekdays 08:30 - 17:00
Weekends 08:30 - approx 12:30

Grantham and District Hospital
Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory pediatric and accident and emergency services.

About the Group
Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county.
This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organizations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.
The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).
