An exciting opportunity has arisen on the Isle of Barra, we are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Staff Nurse to work rotational shifts within the nursing team on the Isle of Barra giving care in the Hospital (3 inpatients/Emergency room/ Outpatient) in Castlebay on the isle of Barra and Community (CTAC/ Palliative Care) covering the Isles of Barra and Vatersay.
The post is varied and unpredictable you will be delivering care to the 1300 residents of Barra in the various settings, utilising advanced nursing skills and clinical experience in medical and acute care. Community, Trauma, Paediatric, Palliative, Scheduled and unscheduled care skills and knowledge is desirable and opportunity to develop these available.

You will be providing clinical care as part of the Barra Nursing Team covering the Isles of Barra and Vatersay. A Driving licence is required. Applicants should be committed to providing a high standard of evidence based care, interact well within a multi-disciplinary team and contribute to the education and supervision of learners.
The successful candidates will need to achieve all Mandatory Training requirements for WINHS.
