BNRU Specialist Inpatient Neurological Rehabilitation
BNRU provides specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation for adults with complex rehabilitation needs following conditions such as stroke, acquired brain injury, spinal cord disorders, neurological disease, and other disabling neurological conditions.
Provide high-quality, patient-centred assessment, treatment, and care coordination within a multidisciplinary team to improve health outcomes and maximise independence. Deliver evidence-based practice, support patients and carers, maintain professional standards, and contribute to service development, quality improvement, education, and clinical governance while ensuring safe and effective care delivery.
Main Duties
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient assessment, care, and treatment.
- Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to plan and coordinate care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure safe clinical practice.
- Support, educate, and advocate for patients and carers.
- Supervise and mentor students and junior staff.
- Contribute to service improvement, audits, and quality initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain professional standards, training, and clinical competence.
- Promote a safe working environment and effective use of resources.
- Participate in rota, weekend, night, and cross-cover duties as required.
