Registered Mental Health Nurses

We are seeking a few Registered Mental Health Nurses to join our Team at West London Forensic Services; these vacancies have come about as a result of a recent service review; and we are delighted to be able to recruit some exceptional Staff Nurses for our Service. You will be joining a team that is committed to providing high quality safe care to a complex patient group with challenging individual needs.

Requirements

If you are a Registered Nurse with experience in Mental Health Care, who has a passion in forensics, we would like to hear from you. Not accepting overseas nurses on this vacancy, and this vacancy may close early due to the high volumes of applications.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out duties as designated by the nurse in charge and report on the patient’s condition.
  • Maintain the orderliness, hygiene and safety of the ward environment.
  • Undertake routine clerical duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain communication with individuals or groups of patients, carers, and staff about difficult or complex matters, overcoming any problems in communication.
  • Develop own knowledge and skills and contribute to the development of others.
  • Monitor and maintain health, safety, and security of self and others in the own work area.
  • Contribute to the implementation of services.
  • Contribute to quality improvement.
  • Promote people’s equality, diversity, and rights.
  • Assess the care needs of people whose needs are relatively stable and consistent with others in the ward.
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate programmes of care to address people’s needs, which are relatively stable and consistent with others in the ward.
  • Participate in partnership working with individuals, groups, communities, and agencies.
  • Lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas, and work practice.
  • Plan, allocate, assess, and provide feedback to team members.
  • Maintain and support the efficient use of physical and/or financial resources.
