Ward M1
Ward M1 is a medical ward for the elderly with a bed capacity of 30 and 10 escalation beds. We are looking for a staff nurse who is passionate, conscientious, and motivated to make a difference.

Role Overview
As a Band 5 Staff Nurse on M1, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, compassionate, person-centred care to older adults with complex medical, frailty, and dementia-related needs.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Recognise and respond to clinical deterioration.
- Administer medicines safely.
- Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for patients.
- Contribute to discharge planning from admission.
- Support rehabilitation and deconditioning initiatives.
- Promote patient independence.
- Ensure care is delivered in line with Trust policies, professional standards, and evidence-based practice.
