An opportunity has arisen for you to join our Emergency Gynaecology Ward at St Mary's Hospital at Wythenshawe Hospital, within Manchester NHS Foundation Trust.
You will gain experience in an acute emergency gynaecology setting, this is a fast-paced environment with a high footfall through the unit. You will work within an experienced MDT team and will be supported with a supernumerary period.
The Emergency Gynaecology Ward is a 15-bedded in-patient ward with a designated 4-bedded day case unit. Patients are admitted through emergency circumstances via the Emergency Gynaecology Unit, ED, and other various neighboring healthcare providers.
Main duties of the job
You will be a Registered Nurse who is looking for a new challenge within Emergency Gynaecology. You will have a pivotal role in the team dynamics being responsible to the ward manager. You will deliver gold standard care to patients and their families during their stay in hospital. Your role will be to provide care to patients from admission to discharge, ensuring trust standards are met throughout.
To join us, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be able to support and contribute to a team approach, have the ability to problem-solve, analyze, and resolve issues. In addition to this, you must be motivated to develop personally and professionally and have exemplary personal standards of conduct.

- First level registration - RGN Adult
Desirable:
- Teaching Qualification
- Degree level 6 study Diploma
Experience and knowledge

- Knowledge of current nursing issues
