About the Role

Are you a caring and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse or are you about to qualify and are looking for a fresh or new opportunity? Why not come and work for CWP - we may have just the role for you.

Vacancies

We have vacancies for permanent, full and part-time opportunities for Staff Nurses within our Bed-based services at Springview, Wirral on Brackendale, Brooklands, Riverwood, Lakefield and Meadowbank Wards.

Services

Bed-based services comprise of wards that cater for acute admissions, Psychiatric Intensive Care, Eating Disorder Inpatient Services, and Rehabilitation Inpatient Services.

Requirements

All wards offer a 24-hour service; therefore, the successful candidates must be flexible and able to work a rotational shift pattern that includes a range of 12.5-hour shifts over days, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

You will be part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team and have an ethos of collaborative working between individual service users, carers, and other stakeholders.

We are looking for motivated nurses to join our team. You should possess commitment to team working and innovative delivery of excellent standards of care. You will be able to demonstrate a real enthusiasm for mental health nursing, as well as a desire for on-going professional development.

You will receive excellent training and opportunities for development, clinical supervision, and appraisal. We also offer our staff training packages, development and leadership pathways, and a comprehensive preceptorship program for those who are newly qualified.

About CWP

Cheshire and Wirral Partnership (CWP) provides health and care services for a population of over one million people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health, and all-age disability care, as well as the provision of three GP surgeries in Cheshire.

We employ around 4,500 staff across 73 sites and have services across Wirral and Cheshire, as well as Trafford, Warrington, Bolton, Halton, Liverpool, and Stockport.

Induction

All new starters will commence in post on one fixed start date each month, in line with our Prepare to Care (P2C) induction programme date. P2C offers up to 3 weeks training to support you to meet the induction/initial training requirements of the role.
