Band 5 Gynaecology Staff Nurse- Gynaecology Outpatients and Colposcopy
We are looking for a Passionate, compassionate and dedicated Part Time Band 5 Staff Nurse to join the Gynaecology Outpatient and Colposcopy team at the West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a genuine passion caring for Women undergoing all aspects of gynaecological care.
As Staff Nurse
- You will be working alongside a supportive and committed multi-disciplinary team.
- This post will include coordinating care and chaperoning the patients attending gynaecology outpatients.
- Assisting in the colposcopy clinics and also those attending the gynaecology termination clinic.
- There will be opportunities for you to develop and expand within your role.
- You can expect to receive in house training from the Gynaecology Outpatient Sisters and other members of the team.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, a friendly approachable nature and the ability to manage your own workload are required.
- Previous gynaecology experience is desirable but not essential.
We are a dynamic unit which treats a wide range of Gynaecological conditions. We run a termination service on the gynaecology ward, which you may be required to partake in, therefore it is vital you do not have a conscientious objection to this procedure.
