East IV Therapy Service

Job Opportunity for a Registered General Nurse (RGN)

The East IV Therapy Service has an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our team. We welcome applications from newly qualified nurses to experienced nurses. Home IV Therapy has been proven to be a cost-efficient way to treat patients while enhancing the patient experience. Our nurses are experts in the delivery of IV medication and in the management of patients with venous access devices. The service supports hospital discharges for patients requiring IV therapy treatments in the community; local oncology departments to assist with the management of treatments and facilitates GP referrals to avoid hospital admissions.

As well as delivering IV therapy to patients in the comfort of their own homes, you will also be working in our designated IV clinics.

Main Duties

The main duties of the role require a dynamic nurse with preferred experience. The nurse's role includes IV administration, cannulation, and care of all venous access devices. The successful candidate will need:
