Emergency Department Staff Nurse (Band 5) - Part-Time
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Emergency Department for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our team on a part-time basis, working 23 hours per week.
This is a fixed-term post until 1 January 2027 to provide maternity leave cover.
Requirements
Applicants should have a minimum of 12 months’ post-registration experience and demonstrate evidence of ongoing professional development.
We are looking for an individual who is keen to develop their emergency nursing knowledge and skills, can adapt quickly to changing activity and priorities, and will contribute positively as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.
About the Role
Our busy Emergency Department provides care for the full spectrum of illness and injury across all age groups, with approximately 20% of attendances being paediatric. We prioritise teaching and development, have a strong team ethos, and are committed to continuous improvement in the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.
