Our Global Structure

Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.

Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation, and growth drive everything we do. Our Product team defines how millions of people experience Deliveroo, turning complex marketplace challenges into simple, high-impact solutions. Working at the intersection of data, design, and engineering, we set direction, prioritise what matters most, and deliver outcomes that move the business forward.

We’re looking for a Staff Product Designer (Retail) to join our London team. This is a hybrid role. In this role, you’ll help us shape the strategic vision for retail delivery, building brand-new shopping experiences and unlocking emerging categories to scale our marketplace.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be joining the Retail team. Retail is a fast-growing, greenfield area for us beyond core restaurant and grocery delivery, helping people get almost anything delivered locally.

Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:

Strategic Direction & Product Vision

  • Lead strategic design sprints to establish the foundation and execution plan for our 2027 product vision, defining how distinct retail categories and shopping formats feel.
  • Partner autonomously with Product, Engineering, and Business leaders as a trusted advisor to co-own the product roadmap and decide what we build and why.

Craft & Quality

  • Raise the design craft bar across the team by guiding team members, hosting critique sessions, and fostering a culture of high quality and detail.
  • Spot and resolve platform-wide systems challenges—such as accessibility, performance, and UI consistency—at scale across the ecosystem.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
