About Us

We’re building the world’s leading cross-border fintech for emerging markets - empowering families, fueling local economies, and changing how millions access financial services.

Since our launch in 2019, we have transformed how money moves across borders with our operations spanning 6 out of 7 continents and covering both the busiest and most underserved (remittance) corridors. We tapped into a massive shift - from banks to phones - bringing digital finance to places where traditional systems never reached. The next stage of growth will fuel a network of services and products especially designed to make money more accessible to diaspora communities including local cards, and additional savings and payments features.

We’re growing fast, backed by world-class investors, and scaling a product that blends real world impact with cutting edge fintech innovation.

Here’s a little more:

  • Founded by Harvard grads and 3-time founders who previously built Segovia (acquired) and GiveDirectly (>$300M revenue, fastest-growing NGO in the world)
  • Backed by top investors including Spark Capital, Canaan, Reid Hoffman, Breyer Capital, Unbound, Wamda, and more
  • Built by global top performers from Bain, Google, McKinsey, Uber, Checkout, Bolt, and beyond - we move fast, stay humble, and care deeply about our mission
  • Truly global team - 250+ people, 50+ nationalities, 50+ languages
  • Guided by our values - ownership, impact, humility, and heart - in deed, not just word

About The Role

We're hiring a Staff Product Designer to set the visual and experiential direction of a global brand, and to build the products that carry it.

This is not a role that inherits a finished system and maintains it. Our design system is young, our brand is ready to evolve, and we have entire product categories still to launch. You'll have unusual latitude to decide what Taptap Send looks and feels like across more than 70 markets, and unusual proximity to the decisions that change the company’s trajectory.

Concretely, you'll own:

  • Brand and visual evolution. Push our identity somewhere distinct and memorable without losing sight of the fact that people come to us to complete an important financial task and should leave feeling rewarded for it. Visual distinctiveness in service of trust, not in tension with it.
  • The design system. Expand it from a component library into real infrastructure: tokens, motion, content patterns, and the documentation that lets a small team ship consistently across mobile, web, and internal tools.
  • New product offerings. New surfaces and new lines of business, taken from a rough hypothesis to a shipped product with measurable impact on customers and on the business.
  • The craft bar. You hold the standard for what great looks like here, and you're the person who helps make the call on when something is genuinely done.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You'll work across product, engineering, growth, compliance, and go-to-market, in a company that moves fast and expects extreme ownership.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Define the design direction for a brand used across four continents, and see your decisions reach customers within weeks rather than quarters
  • Take ambiguous, high-stakes problems — new markets, new products, unfamiliar regulatory terrain — and turn them into shipped work, not decks
  • Use AI tooling to compress the distance between idea and reality: prototype in hours, run more experiments than a team our size should be able to, and hand engineers front-end work that already sits close to spec
  • Build the system, the brand, and the products on top of them, rather than choosing one lane
  • Set the craft standard for a growing design team and raise the bar for everyone around you through the work itself

We’re excited about you because…

  • Your portfolio shows range and depth. Consumer mobile products you took from ambiguity to launch, plus evidence of systems thinking — not just screens, but the structure underneath them.
  • Craft fundamentals are table stakes for you. Visual hierarchy, typography, content strategy, micro-animation, information architecture. We're not going to teach these; we're going to learn them from you.
  • You reach for AI tools as naturally as design tools. LLM-assisted prototyping, code editors, component generation, workflow automation — and you have a point of view on where they genuinely increase velocity versus where they produce plausible-looking work that fails in the details.
  • You sweat the details and know which ones to trade away. Pixel-perfect where it matters, pragmatic where it doesn't, and clear about the difference.
  • You care deeply about our customers. You've either lived something close to their experience — sending money home, navigating financial systems that weren't built for you — or you're the kind of designer who does the work to understand it, and puts the use case at the center of every system you build.
  • You're comfortable being the most senior designer in the room. You influence roadmaps through evidence, prototypes, and shipped artifacts rather than authority.
  • Fintech, marketplaces, or other high-trust consumer categories are a plus.
