Nursing Professional – Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift
Location: [Department: Intermediate Care Unit] Schedule: Full-time (36 hours/week), Night Shift (7 PM–7 AM) Eligible for weekend & shift differential Operating 24/7/365 to deliver continuous care

As a Registered Nurse (RN) within the Intermediate Care Unit, you will provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients and families across our high-reliability, acute healthcare settings. Our team operates within a High Reliability Organization (HRO), prioritising safety, quality, and efficiency to deliver exceptional outcomes. You’ll collaborate across disciplines, embrace initiative, and be supported to grow in both professional and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities
You will perform a dynamic blend of acute, critical, and specialised nursing care across multiple dimensions:

Assessment & Diagnostic Care (30%)
- Conduct thorough initial, ongoing, and functional health assessments across diverse patient populations.
- Identify critical nursing needs based on patient age, condition, and setting.

Outcomes Planning (30%)
- Develop and document personalised nursing care plans grounded in recognised standards (e.g., Nursing Interventions Classification [NIC]) to address patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., doctors, social workers, therapists) to align goals.

Implementation & Evaluation (20%)
- Execute competent, safety-first interventions while monitoring and adjusting care plans based on real-time data.
- Prepare and contribute to multidisciplinary patient meetings, ensuring robust continuity of care.

Minimum Qualifications
| Core Credentials | Requirements |
|---|---|
| Licensing | Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio, or multi-state compact compliance. |
| National Accreditation | BLS certification (American Heart Association). |

Work Context
- Shift Scheduling: Night ambiguities (7 PM–7 AM) for night shifts.
- Department: High-dependency care unit supporting patients through recovery-prolonged or chronic conditions.
