Staff Software Engineer

Salary: £150,000 - £250,000 + Competitive Equity
Location: London (Old Street, 5 days onsite)
Job Title: Staff Software Engineer

About the Role

We're on the lookout for an exceptional Staff Software Engineer to join one of London's fastest-growing AI startups building autonomous AI voice agents that are redefining how businesses interact with their customers.

This is a unique opportunity to build production AI systems powered by the latest Large Language Models, designing intelligent agents capable of handling complex customer conversations, reasoning through problems, and autonomously completing real-world tasks. You'll work at the cutting edge of applied AI, helping shape products where LLMs aren't simply an added feature—they're the core of the user experience.

As a senior member of the engineering team, you'll own products end-to-end, partnering directly with customers to understand their workflows before designing and shipping AI-native solutions that solve genuine operational challenges. You'll be building highly reliable, scalable systems that combine LLMs, voice technologies, event-driven architectures and cloud infrastructure to create seamless, autonomous customer experiences.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
