Staff Software Engineer (Golang) | London/Hybrid | Up to £170,000
You’ll join a high-growth technology business building cutting-edge software within a highly technical environment.
The business is entering an exciting phase of growth, with an experienced engineering team working on the next generation of its core platform.
This is a genuinely hands-on Staff Engineer opportunity, where you’ll architect and build complex systems, own significant parts of the technical architecture and lead from inside the code.

You’ll be working on challenging engineering problems across distributed systems, real-time processing, reliability, scalability, and complex backend architecture. You’ll take problems from idea through architecture and into production, with significant autonomy over how they’re solved.

What do you need?
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and significant experience with Golang
- Experience designing and building complex backend systems
- Experience leading and mentoring senior engineers
- Strong understanding of system architecture, reliability, and scalability
- Experience working in technically complex product environments
