TL;DR
We're looking for a Staff Software Engineer to help define the future of Lovable Enterprise.
Some of the world's largest companies are already building with Lovable. Now we're building the platform that allows them to deploy Lovable securely, reliably, and on their own terms.
How do you let an enterprise customer deploy Lovable inside their own cloud without slowing product development? How do you build a platform that works seamlessly across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud without compromising security or developer experience? Those are the kinds of problems you'll solve.
You'll define the technical direction for the platform that powers Lovable Enterprise—from cloud architecture and sandboxing to networking, encryption, and identity.
Why Lovable?
Lovable is the software creation platform that gives people the power to act on the problems closest to them. For decades, turning an idea into software required so much capital, technical fluency, and time that many ideas never came to life. Lovable is the counterargument: a platform for all people with ideas, ambition, and problems worth solving. From solopreneurs to small business owners to teams at companies like Adidas and Zendesk, people have built over 60 million projects on Lovable since its launch in November 2024. And we’re just getting started.
We’re building a generational company from Stockholm, with growing teams in London, Boston, New York, and San Francisco. Our team is small, talent-dense, and moving quickly, with a culture rooted in extreme ownership, high velocity, and low-ego collaboration. We look for people who care deeply, ship fast, and are eager to make a dent in the world.
Lovable is one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential Companies and has been recognized on the Forbes AI 50 and CNBC Disruptor 50, reflecting our momentum as one of Europe’s fastest-growing AI companies and one of the most ambitious places to build in this next era of software.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Why join now?
Very few engineering roles offer this level of ownership. You'll help define a platform rather than inherit one. Many of the hardest architectural decisions haven't been made yet, giving you the opportunity to shape the foundation of Lovable Enterprise alongside engineering leadership.
Whether you've been a Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, founding engineer, or CTO, we're looking for someone who's already operated with this level of ownership—and wants to do it again on an even bigger stage.
What You'll Do
You'll define the technical direction for the platform that lets enterprise customers run Lovable securely and at scale.
You'll spend your time writing software, making architecture decisions, mentoring engineers, and working directly with customers on problems that don't have established playbooks. Examples include:
- Defining the architecture for enterprise deployments across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, including deployments into customer-controlled environments.
- Building cloud-agnostic systems that give customers flexibility in how and where they run Lovable.
- Designing secure sandboxing and runtime environments for running untrusted code at scale.
- Setting the technical bar for networking, encryption, identity and enterprise infrastructure.
- Building the internal platform that helps our engineering teams ship faster.
- Mentoring engineers and raising the engineering bar across the organisation.
- Working directly with enterprise customers and cloud providers on complex infrastructure challenges.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a Staff-level (or equivalent) Software Engineer with deep platform and infrastructure experience who have set technical direction before. This is a role for engineers who enjoy building software that powers infrastructure, if you’re from a traditional DevOps background this is less likely to be a good fit.

Your very own career expert that helps elevate your application to the next level.
This is the role for you if you have:
- Strong programming skills in Go or Rust, or a comparable systems language (C++, Java or similar)
- Experience building enterprise products and working with enterprise customers.
- Designed and scaled distributed systems in production that are used by multiple teams.
- Built on Kubernetes (or a similar orchestrator) as a platform, not just deployed to it.
- Hands-on experience designing and running production systems across more than one major cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), with deep expertise in at least one.
- A product mindset. You care about the people using the systems you build, not just the systems themselves.
- Experience operating at Staff, Principal, founding engineer, or CTO-level scope.
And deep experience in some of these:
- Shipping software into customer-controlled environments (BYOC, VPC, self-hosted, air-gapped).
- Sandboxing and isolation (containers, microVMs, multi-tenant security).
- Enterprise identity, networking and encryption (SSO/SCIM, KMS/BYOK, private networking).
