We're partnering with one of London's fastest-growing venture-backed AI startups, building cutting-edge technology that transforms how organisations use video, sensor and security data in real time.
Using AI, distributed systems and large-scale data processing, they're solving genuinely complex engineering problems—and they're looking for a Staff Software Engineer to help shape the next stage of growth.
💡 The Opportunity
As one of the most senior engineers in the business, you'll own the evolution of the core data platform, driving architecture across backend infrastructure while partnering closely with product and application teams.

- Leading architecture across backend and data infrastructure
- Scaling databases, streaming systems, queues and caching layers
- Driving reliability, observability and platform performance
- Helping define engineering best practices as the company scales

🎯 They're looking for:
- 9+ years building high-performance backend or infrastructure systems
- Strong experience with distributed systems and large-scale platforms
- Someone who enjoys solving hard engineering problems and leading by example
