The role
This company is building an AI operating system to transform acquired B2B SaaS businesses. They ingest vast amounts of operational data, encode best practices, and deploy autonomous agents to automate critical workflows across a growing portfolio. The founding team brings deep experience from large-scale data platforms and frontier AI, backed by leading investors.
This Staff Software Engineer role is a pure technical leadership seat. You will own the most challenging end-to-end problems, architecting a platform that integrates deeply into diverse business data and scales across multiple acquired companies. This is not a management track; you will work directly with leadership on technical direction, anchor critical workstreams, and elevate the team's technical bar through hands-on contribution and mentorship. We need a force multiplier for a small, fast-moving group, not someone focused on 1:1s.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
