- Handles all aspects related to employee time records prior to timecard processing. (I.e. sick calls, filling open shifts, sign ups and daily schedule reconciliation.)
- Functions as the central communication source regarding staffing and scheduling issues.
- Responsible for overall coordination of department staffing and scheduling in line with budget and patient needs.
- Responsible for tracking and generating reports for Department Managers.
- Practices with a Customer Service approach to all activities.
- Successfully manages multiple projects and responsibilities.
- Perform other work related duties as assigned or requested.
- Coordinates schedules for assigned staff according to needs identified by manager.
- Maintains and troubleshoots for computerized scheduling system.
- Codes and enters data into computer using standard procedures and established time schedule.
- Provides direction to constant observer staff.
- Provides training and support to end-users.
- Establishes own work plan and priorities using standard procedures to assure timely completion of assigned work in conformance with department policies and procedures.
- Consistently provides service excellence to all patients, family members, visitors, volunteers and co-workers in a manner that reflects Falmouth Hospital’s commitment to CARES: compassion, accountability, respect, excellence and service.

- High School graduate or equivalent, college degree preferred. Equivalent of two (2) years of Business College preferred.
- Two (2) to four (4) years supervisory experience, experience in Business Operations, Communications, knowledge of manpower planning, scheduling, methods and techniques, and familiarity with computer.
- One to two years’ experience.
- Intermediate computer ability. MOX, Outlook, Word, Excel, and ATSS.
