Role Overview
The Staffing Execution Lead plays a critical role in aligning talent to client engagements, ensuring optimal utilization, and supporting career development. Operating within a defined scope, such as a vertical, sub-vertical, or service area - this role partners closely with business leaders to balance client demand, individual aspirations, and strategic priorities.
The Staffing Execution Lead is responsible for managing and reporting on key staffing metrics, proactively identifying and addressing capacity challenges, and contributing to broader talent and workforce planning initiatives. This role also supports the implementation of central staffing strategies and continuous improvement efforts.
Here’s what you’ll be doing
- Strategically align resources to client engagements, balancing business needs, individual development, and utilization goals.
- Partner with vertical and service line leaders to understand demand, forecast needs, and resolve staffing conflicts.
- Coordinate and lead discussions with employees to understand project preferences and professional development goals, provide unbiased support on project selection.
- Ensure systems updates with employee skills and experience on a recurring basis.
- Monitor and report on staffing metrics within assigned scope, providing insights to inform decision-making.
- Proactively assess capacity and pipeline challenges, escalating risks and proposing solutions.
- Support the execution of central staffing initiatives and contribute to the evolution of staffing processes and tools.
- Provide input into workforce planning, talent management, and career development discussions.
- Collaborate with the broader staffing team to ensure consistency, knowledge sharing, and best practice adoption.
- Manage the overall unstaffed process, including evolving the process to increase productivity and utilization and serving as interim go-to for unstaffed team members.
- Lead new hire staffing process, including conducting all staffing conversations and check-ins, and maintaining and delivering new hire staffing training/presentations.
- Collaborate with opportunity leads, BD, and finance to ensure accuracy in financial force reporting through maintaining opportunity pipeline and team member status.

Here’s what you’ll need
- Experience in resource management, staffing, or workforce planning within a consulting or professional services environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across levels.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and make decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with staffing systems and tools; comfort with reporting and data visualization platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Experience in an Inizio Advisory Consulting or similar service delivery role is preferred, to support consistency in client deliverables and alignment with established practices.
