What we are building
Mimica is an AI-powered process intelligence platform enabling enterprises and individuals to reclaim their most precious resource: time. We've all seen repetitive tasks and redundant processes quietly drain productivity and creativity. Not because companies don’t want to become more efficient, but because they don’t know where to start.
At the click of a button, Mimica identifies every process improvement and agentic AI opportunity across an enterprise. Our software turns everyday work into data-backed decisions, helping companies remove process bottlenecks, automate the right tasks, and upskill teams with precision and confidence.
We’ve raised $26 million in Series B financing and are scaling fast. Backed by investors including Khosla Ventures and Paladin Capital, our proprietary AI technology is trusted by Fortune 500 companies to accelerate transformation. Mimica is recognized as a Top 100 AI Start-up by Accel and an industry Leader by the Everest Group.
Behind our platform is a team of exceptionally talented people, remote-first and globally distributed across 16+ countries. We're looking for curious, collaborative people excited to solve complex problems. You'll join a fast-paced environment built on high ownership, bottom-up thinking, and transparent, open communication – helping some of the world's leading organizations transform the way work gets done with AI.
Where we are in our scale-up journey
We’ve achieved strong product-market fit and are now scaling with intention. You’ll join a 50-person team of Senior+ engineers and Product leaders who prioritise product impact over mere headcount. We have 8 cross-functional teams, including a dedicated Platform team focused on infra & developer experience. We started building proprietary ML before the LLM boom, so we don't just consume models - we train them from the ground up.
Our approach to engineering

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Your mission
You will join our Mapper Team, whose goal is to produce and service the Process Maps that are at the core of Mimica's product.
We found good product-market fit, which means two things: building new features and making architectural decisions that will enable exponential growth in usage.
You will take ownership of projects end-to-end, build new features, release improvements to existing components, and take operational responsibility for what you build.
We have a bottom-up culture where Engineers identify pain points, experiment with and iterate on their solutions, and leverage tight feedback loops.
As such, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the technical direction, processes and culture of the Engineering org, Chapter and Team.
Part of your day-to-day
- Developing data-visualisation applications and new features around displaying significant large data properties (e.g., insights regarding processes, workflows and metrics) in effective ways, with scalability & reliability in mind.
- Building interfaces and real-time frontend services that enable multiple users to edit graph data and re-train AI models through their input.
- Owning projects end-to-end as part of small teams, collaborating with our TLs and Product Managers.
- Participating in architectural decisions, collaborating across teams to identify and implement product improvements and producing documentation for your implementations.
- Participate in and improve the Team's and Chapter's internal processes and rituals so that we're more effective.
- Providing feedback to peers through RFCs, code reviews and helping those around you to level up.
- Participating in hiring and onboarding new team members.
Who you are
- You have at least 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer and high engineering standards.
- Strong experience and understanding of React, state management, front-end architecture & concepts.
- Knowledge of advanced system design principles, data structures, algorithms, and the core concepts underlying data-intensive applications.
- Deep understanding of advanced performance optimisation techniques.
- Previous experience working in the backend.
- Committed to upholding high engineering standards, delivering clean, testable, reusable, modular, and well-documented code.
- Experience owning projects from start to finish, including speccing, design, development, testing, deployment, release and observability.
- Drive to develop your skills, improve team processes and reduce debt.
- Fluency in English, with effective communication skills – articulating complex ideas, concepts and trade-offs clearly.
