Job Summary
We are recruiting two Stakeholder Communications Officers. The role sits within the Policy and Communications team. Depending on your portfolio, you will report to either the Communications Manager or the Policy and Stakeholder Relations Manager.
Stakeholder Communications Officers lead on communication activity with local authorities, care providers, MPs and other external stakeholders. This is a varied, hands-on communications role with real scope to shape how a public interest organisation tells its story and engages with its audiences.
Postholders are given a defined portfolio of work, but all share a core set of responsibilities and work closely together across the team. One postholder will focus primarily on publications and content, while the other will focus on stakeholder communication and relationship management. Both will work flexibly according to business need and may, subject to management discretion, operate across the full range of stakeholder communications activity.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
