The Opportunity
As the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Solvency II and UK regulatory requirements, you won't just run processes—you will shape them. You will design, develop, and execute the overall model validation scope and plan for a major industry player.
Your Key Impact Areas:
- Regulatory & Model Leadership: Act as the definitive SME for Solvency II and UK regulations, owning the end-to-end internal model validation strategy.
- Risk Appetite & ORSA: Drive the financial risk appetite process. You will establish sharp early-warning indicators, triggers, and limits, while providing pivotal input into Group stress testing, scenario testing, and the wider ORSA process.
- Commercial Growth: Partner with the business to conduct Risk and Capital Assessments for exciting new products, ventures, and strategic propositions.
- Executive Influence: Translate complex actuarial data into compelling, high-level narratives for the Board, senior partners, and key stakeholders.
