The Role Outline: Your Shift at a Glance

As our Assistant Starbucks Manager, you are not just running shifts; you are on a 12-month fast track to the top job. From the 28th of September, our store is undergoing a massive three-week refurbishment, completely transforming its look and doubling in capacity. You will be walking into what is effectively a brand new store, learning the ropes as a Manager in Training with the very real goal of taking over the reins completely next year.

Why Village?

At Village, we do hospitality a little differently. We are all about personality, genuine connections, and creating lively spaces for our guests to work, eat, relax, and play.

Previous supervisory experience is essential, but your ambition, commercial drive, and readiness to step up matter much more to us. If you are hungry to build a management career and want the thrill of launching a newly expanded store, we will give you the exact training and platform you need to succeed. Because it really does take a Village.

How the Village Thrives

We live our culture through four simple commitments:

  • We Can & We Do: We show up to make a genuine difference and do fantastic work every day, with purpose.
  • We Will: Treat each other with respect and dignity. No ego, no drama. We try our best and look out for each other.
  • We Care: We care about our impact on guests, the community, and each other.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
