World Leader in Glucose Monitoring, Abbott Diabetes Care designs, develops and manufactures glucose monitoring systems for use in both home and hospital settings.

We have a Centre of Excellence and Innovation in Witney for the development and manufacture of test strips and biosensors used by patients and healthcare professionals for the day-to-day management of diabetes. Our Operations group is the largest team in the Witney facility, producing high volumes of test strips and biosensors each year to the stringent quality standards demanded by European and US authorities and our internal quality systems. In this role, you will:

  • Support the delivery of quality and compliant sensor products on time, in full and cost effectively to meet the needs of the business and customers.
  • Independently oversee the booking in and internal movement of our product packs.
  • Work closely with our goods in team when receiving product to our dedicated stores area, and then support provision of batches to our sensor testing lab teams as required.
  • Ensure effective stock management of the area, maintain accurate systems records of batches/locations, and maintenance of a clean work environment.

To be successful, you should have completed secondary education, and will bring experience of working in a procedure-based environment. You will be comfortable working independently, but also able to effectively collaborate with internal customers and colleagues to ensure seamless support. IT literacy is essential – experience of stock/warehouse systems advantageous but not essential.

This is a shift pattern role and you will be working a 4-on/4-off Day shift (7am-7pm)

Please note that this role will involve working at height, the operation of pallet trucks, and the movement of large boxes – full training will be provided.
