Station Cleaner at Paddington Station
Optime Group are excited to be recruiting for Station Cleaner to join one of our well-respected and successful clients at Paddington Station. This is a very enjoyable role with a great company providing fantastic working conditions and facilities.
What’s on offer:
- Rate of Pay: £14.80 per hour.
- Shift Times: 3 days per week, 5 hours per day.
- Hours: 15 hours per week.
- Weekly Pay (every Friday).
- Full training provided.
- Temp to Perm (performance-based)
- ASAP Start!
Key Duties:
- Clean and maintain station areas, including platforms, waiting areas, toilets, entrances, and staff facilities.
- Empty bins, remove litter, and ensure waste is disposed of correctly.
- Clean floors, surfaces, windows, and other customer-facing areas to the required standard.
- Regularly check customer areas and respond quickly to spills or other cleaning requirements.
- Replenish cleaning and washroom supplies when required.
- Report any safety hazards, damage, or maintenance issues promptly.
- Follow all health and safety, COSHH, and cleaning procedures.
- Provide a helpful and professional presence when interacting with customers and colleagues.

- Previous cleaning experience, although full training can be provided.
- A strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A reliable and punctual approach to work.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work in a busy environment and manage competing priorities.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
