Exciting opportunity to join respected and ambitious London market broker as a statistical analyst.
This is a rare opportunity to work within one of the most successful casualty teams in the market by proving statistical analysis across the casualty book.
You will:
- Support the Director by building statistical models to identify trends and patterns using these to provide commentary on past and current performance to shape future strategy.
- Look at revenue spread and distribution using large and complex data fields to draw conclusions and make decisions.
- Build statistical models and dashboards to review data and performance.
- Provide numeric analysis across a wide range of products, business lines and activities.
- Develop management reporting capability through effective use of technology.
- Review performance comparing and contrasting various fields.
- Extensively use Excel and other insurance technology alongside modeling software and analytical tools.

You will need:

- A minimum of 12 months experience within a statistical role, this does not have to be in insurance although if it was that is a distinct advantage.
- An advanced qualification (minimum A'Level) in Maths.
- Be advanced in Excel with other technologies to compliment this.
- Have strong communication skills to discuss and present your findings with others who may not be as technical/numeric as you.
