Statistical Data Scientist
Manchester – Hybrid/Remote
Initial 2-month contract (Potential to extend)
SRG are recruiting for a Data Scientist to join an innovative Life Science company based in Greater Manchester. The company specialises in developing medical devices used to improve the recovery, and quality of life for patients with chronic conditions, relieving the burden of care for patients, their families, and healthcare systems.
This will be an initial 2-month contract with the potential to extend, leading a key statistical project. This is a key post within the business and will begin as soon as possible.

The Role:
Working in conjunction with the global team, as the Statistical Data Scientist you will be responsible for leading a study project. Working with large patient data sets, preparing them for analysis and use ahead of publication of key study data.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Organisation & cleansing of data sets.
- Programming analysis tools using R
- Data Analysis
- Creating visualisations and dashboards
- Produce evaluations & reports for internal stakeholders.

Required:
- A degree in Data Science, mathematics or similar relevant field.
- Proven experience of Data organisation & Analysis.
- Proven experience working independently to progress statistical projects.
- Ability to code in R
- Available to begin with short notice.
