As a Statistical Programmer 1 at Fortrea, you will be part of a global team responsible for transforming clinical trial data into high-quality datasets and reports that support critical drug development decisions. Working alongside biostatisticians, data managers, and clinical teams, you will contribute to the delivery of clinical studies across a range of therapeutic areas and development phases.
This is an opportunity to build expertise in statistical programming while taking ownership of meaningful deliverables that support regulatory submissions and help bring new treatments to patients worldwide.
Your Team
The Statistical Programming Department plays a key role in the clinical development process. Our teams develop, validate, and maintain the programming solutions used to analyze and report clinical trial data. From study start-up through regulatory submission, we deliver accurate and reliable outputs that support scientific and business decision-making.

Every dataset, analysis output, and report produced by our Statistical Programming teams contributes to the development of safe and effective therapies. Your work will play an important role in ensuring that clinical data is accurate, reliable, and ready to support regulatory and scientific decision-making.
What You'll Do
As a Statistical Programmer 1, you will support programming and reporting activities across clinical studies, helping ensure the timely and accurate delivery of study data and analysis outputs.
You will:
- Develop, validate, and maintain SAS programs for data analysis and reporting.
- Create and support SDTM and ADaM datasets.
- Produce Tables, Figures, and Listings (TFLs) used in clinical study reporting.
- Perform quality control and validation of programming outputs.
- Produce Define XML/PDFs, Analysis Results Metadata (ARM), annotated CRFs, and Reviews Guides to support SDTMs and ADaMs.
- Follow CDISC standards, regulatory requirements, and internal processes.
- Contribute to study deliverables across multiple therapeutic areas and development phases.

Education & Qualifications
Required
- BSc. in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Life Sciences, or another relevant discipline.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with complex data.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Preferred
- Exposure to statistical programming, data analysis, or databases through studies, internships, or work experience.
- Familiarity with SAS, R, Python, SQL, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of clinical research or healthcare data is advantageous.
