Job Title: Tekla Detailer
Location: Remote, UK
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 dependant on experience
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Tekla Detailer to join our dynamic team of six specialists delivering full turnkey steel construction solutions. This role involves working on a variety of off-site steel construction projects, including hot rolled, cold rolled, infill, and load-bearing steel systems.
As a core part of our design and detailing team, you’ll use Tekla Structures to produce high-quality drawings and 3D models for fabrication and installation across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Create accurate 3D models and 2D drawings using Tekla Structures.
- Develop detailed fabrication and assembly drawings for hot rolled, cold rolled, infill, and load-bearing steelwork.
- Liaise with engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy and project alignment.
- Contribute to off-site construction processes ensuring prefabrication and installation efficiency.
- Ensure all drawings meet industry standards, building regulations, and client specifications.
- Participate in internal design reviews and assist with clash detection and coordination.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Tekla Draughtsperson or Structural Steel Detailer.
- Strong working knowledge of Tekla Structures software.
- Experience with hot rolled steel and cold rolled infill systems.
- Understanding of load-bearing and modular/off-site construction techniques.
- Attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a small, fast-paced team.

Desirable
- Familiarity with other detailing software or BIM coordination tools.
- Experience in a design-and-build or turnkey steel construction environment.
