Due to continued company growth, SB Skills Solutions is looking for an experienced Steel Erector or qualified Steel Erecting Assessor to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Steel Erector looking to progress into an assessor role, or an existing assessor seeking a new opportunity.
The role
You will manage a varied caseload of learners undertaking the ECITB Level 2 and Level 3 RQF Diplomas in Steel Erecting, supporting them from enrolment through to successful completion.
Working closely with learners and employers, you will help individuals develop the knowledge, skills and competence required to progress within the steel erecting industry.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out workplace assessments at employer sites
- Assess learner competence against ECITB guidance and qualification requirements
- Manage learners throughout their full programme
- Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate assessment records
- Provide clear, constructive feedback and ongoing support
- Work with employers to ensure learners remain engaged and on track
- Manage your own diary and caseload effectively

About you
We would like to hear from candidates who:
- Have strong, relevant experience within the steel erecting industry
- Are qualified assessors or experienced Steel Erectors interested in progressing into assessment
- Are confident working independently and managing a varied caseload
- Have strong communication, organisation and time-management skills
- Are passionate about supporting the next generation of steel erectors
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Are willing to travel to employer sites as required
